Your responsibilities

Internal Audit is currently seeking an outgoing and goal-oriented professional who is excited to learn and share best practices throughout the many businesses of Archer Daniels Midland Company. The initial focus is to be a strong Audit team contributor while learning business objectives, risks to meeting objectives, and controls to mitigate those risks. Within a brief period, this role will develop solid knowledge of Internal Audit techniques and lead teams while continually taking on more complex assignments. Project work can include reviewing activities related to any operations within ADM’s value chain, including crop origination, manufacturing, sales, and transportation, as well as supporting and governance functions such as accounting, compliance, and shared services.

This role offers broad exposure to ADM’s operations, continued growth within Internal Audit, and experience that is valued if career goals include moving into other areas of the business.

Internal Audit’s role is to assist ADM management by providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. This is achieved by utilizing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our organization's risk management, control, and governance processes.

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Audit/ Finance or related areas
• 2-5 years of work experience in an Audit company or Internal Audit
• Has experience with Excel: utilizing formulas, features, and pivot tables to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
• Fluent English
• Must be willing and able to achieve Certified Internal Auditor designation within 3 years
• Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to make decisions independently
• Up to 40% of travel to ADM facilities, including international travel
• Willingness to work 3 days per week from our Hamburg office
• Valid work permit to work in the EU
