BSP Private Debt Operations Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Cash Management; monitor daily cash levels and provide recommendations to ensure proper liquidity.
• Manage fund sublines and SPVs: reporting, borrowing base preparation, submitting borrowings/paydowns to replenish/tighten cash levels.
• Answer questions regarding cash and positions bookings from custodians and admins.
• Review credit agreements to pull data for BSP internal systems and fund administrators.
• Track and record credit activity.
• Maintain information repository of KYC documentation.
• Partner with various teams across BSP, including Finance, Operations, Portfolio Analytics, and the Front Office.

Our requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of equity, bonds, and bank loans preferable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work independently and manage own tasks with limited supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

BSP is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative individual to join the team as a Private Debt Operations Specialist. The individual in this position will work on a team of operations professionals and report to the BSP Vice President. BSP’s operational headquarters are based in Boston, MA and support the investment team located in New York.
