This is a leading privately owned main building contractor and civil engineering business that are looking for an additional Senior Site Engineer to join the team based out of the Teeside office.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join the team specialising in building projects within the commercial, industrial, and education sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the construction of steel-framed buildings, overseeing internal brickwork/blockwork structures, as well as external works, drainage, and paving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out building, structures and civils works
* Supervision of subcontractors and direct labour in areas specific to your role.
* Work closely with the project delivery team and support as necessary, including areas of quality and health & safety.
* Attend site meetings.
* Complete documentation and reports associated with your responsibility’s
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* HNC or Degree in construction related field
* Proven experience with steel-framed buildings, brickwork, blockwork, drainage, and external works.
* Strong understanding of inspection and testing procedures.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* SMSTS
* CSCS
