GPM Process Consultant Logistics DtW

Your responsibilities

  • Define & Govern the Global template
  • Support the E2E Stream Lead in proactively manage the respective E2E process
  • Validate the process designs
  • Ensure standard processes and HEPM are aligned
  • Translate the process standards into solutions in the ERP's
  • Process governance and change requests
  • Propose process redesigns to the Design Authority (FOs) based on improvement opportunities and prioritized solutions.
  • Suggest new processes or advanced functionalities to the Design Authority, sourced from Global Functions, reference groups, and OpCos.
  • Create/update procedures and manuals detailing processes for work execution.
  • Facilitate process derogation and change requests.
  • Roll out new functionalities, considering their impact on current processes and business for OpCos in scope.
  • Guide OpCos in adhering to standard processes.
  • Ensure process changes are updated in HEPM.
  • Process performance and scope for OpCos in scope
  • Evaluate the impact of new capabilities on the current Global template.
  • Maintain regular contact with Reference Groups (selected OpCos) to assess process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage major organizational projects focused on process improvements within scope.
  • Propose measurable PPI definitions and calculations.
  • Advise on PPI change requests.
  • Collaborate with D&T to implement PPIs in automated performance dashboards for relevant ERP platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) in PPI measurement.
  • Regularly review PPIs to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Change management
  • Ensure process changes are properly implemented using the release management procedure
  • Manage the change associated with capability implementations by
  • Identifying the needs and positions of all interested parties (stakeholders)
  • Create the sense of urgency
  • Incorporating change management activities into programme plans to ensure stakeholders understand and support the change journey
  • Addressing any cultural sensitivities

Our requirements

  • 3-5 years of working experience required in a similar role / a complex international environment / FMCG industry
  • Business process design and modelling techniques and tools
  • Capability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication skills - explain complicated subjects in clear and simple language
  • Consultancy skills, being critical when needed
  • Understanding the interaction between business processes and technology
  • Fluent English language required (French and Spanish is a plus)
  • Specific experience:
  • Logistics
  • Management of RPM
  • Management of inter- and intracompany transactions
  • Subcontracting process
  • Inventory management:
  • Internal movements and inventory management process; stock movement between storage locations, stock transfer order, scrapping, counting, tracking and tracing

Process Consultants are Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Global Functions. They implement model processes in ERP platforms and work as process teams. Their role includes proposing process improvements, reviewing derogation requests, and gathering focused SMEs. While they drive changes, final approval lies with the FO. Their main goal is to improve and expand the Global template within ERP systems.
