Tax Specialist (Polish legal entities)

Your responsibilities

• Managing tax settlements in the area of VAT and corporate income tax, preparing VAT and CIT declarations.
• Controlling the accuracy of accounting entries and preparing calculations for VAT, corporate income tax and withholding tax.
• Tax reporting for the Group purposes and preparing other information and reports for tax authorities. Ongoing cooperation with tax authorities.
• Developing tax procedures. Interpretation and roll out of local accounting policy/standards.
• Participating in projects and providing substantive support to colleagues in tax-related issues.
• Ensuring the accuracy and efficient operation of the financial-accounting system in the area of taxes.
• Gathering data and documents and preparing summaries for transfer pricing documentation.
• Coordination of calendar with external auditors, internal stakeholders in the Market, feeding processes and service providers.
• Constantly look for improvement opportunities and drive implementation (compliance, quality, and process efficiency).

Our requirements

• Strong tax accounting expertise for polish legal entities.
• Significant hands-on accounting and tax reporting experience.
• Fluent Polish, advanced knowledge of English (B2 as minimum).
• Strong computer skills, particular experience with Excel and SAP.
• Critical mindset to be able to challenge tools and processes in use while promoting business development.
• Ability to work independently and show responsibility for individual tasks.
• Able to act as focal point between different stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and deal with time constraints while effectively managing deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate in the team to work in the atmosphere of support.
• Diagnose and creatively solves non-routine problems as well as demonstrate continuous improvement mindset and drive for excellence.
