Chief Accountant / Finance Manager

Recruitment for

Our client is a production and distribution company that is looking for a person for the position of Finance Manager due to internal promotion. We are open to profiles of chief accountants who want to take the next step in their career and perform a function with comprehensive responsibility for the finances of the entire organization. We also invite candidates who are already Finance Managers or Financial Directors.

Your responsibilities

• Manage the finance, accounting and tax function in the entity/reporting unit.
• P&L & BS responsibility for the entity/reporting unit.
• Business support: in case of necessity communication with main customers and supplies, group/divisional controlling.
• Perform and manage the reporting processes – group and statutory reporting.
• Manage budgeting & forecasting (planning) processes.
• Statutory accounting and tax reporting, including financial statements preparation and submission.
• Manage the year-end closing process and audits.
• Managing area of tax compliance, including e.g. transfer pricing documentation, MDR reporting.
• Close collaboration with internal and external tax advisors.
• Cooperation with Shared Service Center.
• Team management, including employee development.

Employer requirements

• University, master’s degree in business administration, with focus on finance / accounting / controlling.
• Over 3 years of extensive experience within operational finance.
• Deep knowledge and skills in accounting and controlling.
• Hands-on approach in daily work – readiness to both manage tasks, as well as perform them independently if required.
• Experience with SAP ERP system (especially FI/CO module. SD module will be an asset.
• Proficient in English and Polish.
• Ability to work in the modern reality: high work-load and informational pressure, manage to execute task with the limited resources and within limited time frames.
