Accountant Specialist with German

For our client, an international company in the insurance industry, we are currently recruiting for the position of Accountant Specialist with German.

Your responsibilities

• Coordination and preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements,
• Analysis of discrepancies in accounting records,
• Preparation of internal and external reports for the Management Board,
• Cooperation with tax auditors regarding financial statements, plans and financial forecasts,
• Optimisation of existing processes in terms of safety, quality and efficiency,
• Participation in accounting projects carried out internally and between departments

Employer requirements

• Fluency in English (min. C1) and good knowledge of German (min. B2),
• University degree in economics (preferred: accounting, finance, auditing),
• Very excellent knowledge of SAP and MS Office,
• Highly developed analytical skills,
• Knowledge of accounting regulations (HGB, IFRS), SAP FI and SEM-BCS as well as experience in working with databases (e.g. TM1).
