Your responsibilities

• Direct Reporting Line to AP Global Performance Delivery Lead
• Lead AP delivery team in managing daily operational activities, goal setting, team development
• Managing a team of approx. 6 Senior Accountants, Accountants and DP Analysts
• Reviewing team performance in terms of PTP related accounting and reporting processes
• Ensuring compliance with internal control system
• Supporting Finance Transformation Project for Global Business Services
• Supporting Affiliates in finance-related processes, being a main contact point between Affiliates and GBS on an operational level
• Driving and supporting direct team and GBS Team in general to achieve common goals and deliver process enhancements
• Manage and lead AP Delivery Team
• Responsible for staff training and development
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members
• Manage performance appraisal process and development of all direct reports
• Represent AP Delivery Team in internal and external meetings and workshops
• Hands-on approach – understanding tasks of individual team members and being able to step in if needed
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders
• Monitor KPIs and manage issues (Service levels breach, service underperformance, etc.) related to supplier’s performance in collaboration with APCOE Lead
• Perform risk assessment, prepare and execute risk mitigation plan in cooperation with APCOE Lead
• Assure process compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
• Proactively resolve process performance issues and follow up with relevant stakeholders using structural problem-solving tools and methods
• Close cooperation with other teams inside Finance function (APCOE, RTR, Tax, Treasury, External Tax Advisors, Project Teams) to ensure smooth processes execution and effective financial support for business functions across Europe

Our requirements

• Very good language skills in English
• Experience in leading accounting/finance teams
• University degree: Educational background in Finance and Accounting
• Practical knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., Oracle and JDE)
• Experience in process improvement/project management
• Very good understanding of AP accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills
• Leadership skills – ability to motivate the team and focus on development
