Your responsibilities

  • We are looking for a reliable and analytical manager with the ability to work independently, who enjoys communicating and working with a variety of stakeholders in an effective and timely way. This position is partially operational, partially coodrinating. Main area of focus would be countries from Central Europe - Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania. Apart from making sure that operations are going smoothly Team Manager will be responsible for contact with business representatives in local entites.
  • Coordinating of work of small team of accountants (2,3 people).
  • Approval of balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
  • Approvals of general ledger manual jounral entries.
  • Proactive performing the period-end closing activities.
  • Assisting with internal and external financial and compliance audits, including SOX controls.

Our requirements

  • University degree, with a focus on business administration or finance. A professional certificate in accounting would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in shared service operations, ideally combined with the governance of (partially) outsourced activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Advanced IT skills, especially SAP and Excel knowledge. Experience with Oracle EPM would be an advantage.
  • The working language is English which has to be fully mastered; good knowledge of any other language from CEE region (i.e. Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian) would be an advantage.
