IT Technician

Requirements Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position Excellent communication ability Organizational and time-management skills In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks A and N Certification, required Drivers License Responsibilities & Duties: Assist with the assessment, development, implementation, and support of hardware and network technology for new and existing locations and other remote locations, including setting up of computer. Systems, projectors, network, and internet access Assist with the trouble shooting and implementation of Software and hardware Diagnose and provide support on end user issues, including repairing, servicing, examining, installing, training, and troubleshooting computer hardware, printers, and other peripherals. Provide support to help end users access network resources from work and home. Work with staff to coordinate routine hardware maintenance, upgrades of software. Installation and setup of server operating systems Understanding of installing and setting up of Virtual machines (VM-Hyper V) Installing and setting up of VPN clients Understanding of firewalls, Mikrotik routers and managed switches Installation of Office 365, pastel and Endpoint antivirus Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors support teams Skills Required: Problem-solving and analytical / investigative skills. Accuracy and attention to detail deadline driven. Sound computer literacy and technical knowledge.
