JOB TITLE : Principal Salesforce Engineer (Data : Pune/ Mumbai / Hyderabad Experience : 7 yrs. SHIFT TIME : General Shift (9:30 to 6:30) NOTICE PERIOD : 30 days INTERVIEW ROUNDS : 4 rounds MODE OF INTERVIEW : Virtual Must-Have Skills : Salesforce Experience with Data migration is Background : BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant Salesforce development experience, including 4 years in a data migration-focused role. Key Responsibilities : Design and Architect Data Migration Frameworks : Develop comprehensive data migration strategies that address the full lifecycle from data extraction to data loading into Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business requirements Lead Data Migration Projects : Spearhead data migration projects, particularly for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with stakeholders including enterprise data experts, other Salesforce developers, the BI team, and business units to craft solutions that support strategic decisions Advanced Data Handling and Analysis : Utilize advanced data manipulation and analysis techniques to address complex business inquiries and reporting needs that cannot be met via standard Salesforce reporting. Ensure Code Quality and Best Practices : Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and system scalability across all Salesforce data migrations Technical Leadership and Solution Development : Drive the development of templatized data migration solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. Documentation and Continuous Improvement : Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, data mappings, and process workflows; continuously identify and implement system enhancements. Stay Ahead of the Curve : Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and trends in data migration technologies, advocating for and implementing best practices that enhance system capabilities and business operations. Requirements : Deep Expertise in Salesforce and Data Migration : Strong technical mastery in Salesforce, with specific skills in CPQ, data migration tools, and a track record of managing large-scale data migration projects. Technical Proficiency : Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and familiarity with database management systems such as Snowflake and SQL Server, and ETL tools like Fivetran. Integration and Automation Skills : Expertise in designing and implementing integration patterns, using REST APIs, middleware solutions, and automation tools to enhance system efficiencies. Agile Methodology : Proven ability in leading projects within an Agile framework, fostering quick iterations and adaptations based on evolving business needs. Strong Communication : Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and driving cross-functional (ref:hirist.tech)
