.Net Developer - C#/ASP/MVC

Role : Software Developer Experience : 4 - 6 Years Location : Pune Notice Period : Immediate Joiners For a software developer with 4-6 years of experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and MSSQL (with optional PostgreSQL) , the roles and responsibilities might include : Roles and Responsibilities : 1. Software Development and Maintenance : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and WCF. - Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in applications and systems. 2. Cloud Integration and Management : - Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS using services like EC2, S3, RDS, and others. - Implement containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate containers with Kubernetes. - Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure performance, security, and availability. 3. Database Management : - Design, implement, and maintain database schemas in MSSQL, and optionally in PostgreSQL. - Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning practices. - Write and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures. 4. System Design and Architecture : - Collaborate with architects and other developers to design system architecture and application structure. - Ensure that applications meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. - Develop and maintain technical documentation. 5. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers. - Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to project planning and progress discussions. - Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers as needed. 6. Continuous Improvement and Learning : - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve your skill set and the development process. - Suggest and implement improvements to development practices and tools. 7. Quality Assurance : - Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of the application. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. 8. Deployment and Release Management : - Coordinate with DevOps or release management teams to ensure smooth deployment and release processes. - Troubleshoot deployment issues and work to resolve them promptly. Desired Skills and Qualifications : - Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC : Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and web development. - Experience with WCF : Ability to build and consume web services. - Cloud Expertise : Hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture. - Containerization and Orchestration : Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for managing application deployment. - Database Skills : Proficiency with MSSQL, and familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus. - Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and teamwork skills. - Immediate Availability : Ready to join immediately as specified in the notice period.
