Job Description : We are looking for " Senior Backend Engineer (Node.JS) " for one of our clients (offering a multitude of services - strategy, user experience design (UX), user Interface design (UI), software engineering, testing, marketing, analytics and maintenance - all of which come together to form a successful product). Location : Onsite (Work from office) Mumbai, Vikhroli West Experience Required : 5 - 9 years CTC : 21 - 28 lpa About the role : We are growing rapidly, and looking for self-motivated, Senior Backend Engineers with minimum 5 years of work experience. We are looking to build out multiple teams to work on high availability scalable backend systems that will support mobile and web applications for major retailers. Review Criteria: Strong Backend Engineer(Node.JS) Profile Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have Min 5 YOE in Software Development. Mandatory (Experience 2) -Must have Min 3 YOE in NodeJs. Mandatory (Experience 3) - Must have Min 3 YOE in Typescript. Mandatory (Experience 4) - Must have Experience in any databases - MySQL / PostgreSQL / Postgres / Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 / Mongo DB / SQL Mandatory (Skill1) - Must have Experience in AWS Cloud Mandatory (Skill 2) - Experience in Docker Mandatory (Education) - BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science Preferred (Skill 3) - Good to have experience in NestJS, PostgresSQL, Microservices Role & Responsibilities : The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skill set and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products required for the company's needs. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy. Primary responsibilities : - Designing and implementing server-side logic and database architecture - Ensuring application performance, scalability, and security - Resolving technical depth across multiple languages - Integration with Social Media and E-commerce APIs - Shopify, Salesforce, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch. - Cloud computing integration-e.g., public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services, or private cloud environments - Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless application integration - Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews - Monitoring and debugging critical notifications along with the team - Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in backend development Qualification & Skills : - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science with 5 years of industry experience - Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages: Typescript, Node.js - Excellent knowledge of unit and integration testing - Strong communication skill - Proficiency in object-oriented design, multithreading, and asynchronous programming - Framework : Express, NestJS - Proficient in writing REST APIs - Strong expertise in database & designing of MongoDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL - Good to have hands-on experience in technologies like C#, Python, Serverless, Documentation UML, Pair-Programming, Docker, Terraform (ref:hirist.tech)
