Job Description
Process Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end process mapping to identify inefficiencies and pain points, leading initiatives to streamline and simplify operations.
- Establish and maintain a framework for process management standards, ensuring consistency across the organization and with partners.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously refine and improve processes.
Strategy and Planning:
- Lead the adoption of innovation and improvement strategies to optimize operational processes, integrating design thinking and automation where appropriate.
- Develop and implement initiatives that streamline processes and enhance efficiency, reducing costs and improving resilience.
- Formulate and execute plans for process simplification and automation to support operational scalability and growth.
Business Performance and Management:
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to implement new systems, processes, and controls, and assess current operations to drive improvements.
- Build strong partnerships with teams across the organization, ensuring the effective implementation and adoption of operational improvements.
- Monitor progress and success metrics for process improvements, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with business goals.
Project Management:
- Manage or contribute to key operational projects, including providing business requirements, reviewing documentation, and guiding project teams to successful execution.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as Technology, Risk, and Business Units, to ensure that project goals align with organizational objectives.
- Monitor project progress, address issues as they arise, and ensure that cost savings and operational improvements are achieved.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operational roles within banking, financial services, or consulting industries.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and a track record of successfully delivering process optimization projects.
- Extensive expertise in banking processes across various business lines and functions, with strong skills in process improvement and project management
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives within the banking and financial services industry.
- Deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards across multiple regions, including Singapore and Malaysia.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and systems, with the ability to drive transformation across multiple teams and functions.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and implement large-scale operational improvements.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
