This is a mid-size energy and petrochemical trading entity, with an impressive asset and customer portfolio at the global level. With continued growth plans in Asia, they are looking to hire a hands-on and entrepreneurial Financial Manager to undertake accounting and finance responsibilities.

Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will lead a team and responsible for all aspects of financial accounting, control, reporting, financial planning & analysis, settlements. The Finance Manager will be the key finance business partner to the Trading and Commercial teams, working closely with them to drive business performance, develop performance metrics, forecasting, and business plan to support decision making. Working closely with a central treasury team, the Finance Manager will also manage treasury operations matters including cash management, forecasting, and financing. In relation to taxes, incentives and grants, the Financial Manager will play an integral role to ensure that the Company adheres to the regulatory requirements.

Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a university degree in an accounting and finance discipline, with at least 6 years' of work experience within energy trading finance. Hands-on experience in full suite finance including treasury operations is essential for the role. You will also be an excellent communicator with supervisory experience and a self-starter who is able to take the initiative and work independently under pressure.
