Job Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in the manufacturing industry, based in Bowmanville, Ontario. The role involves managing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in an on-site setting. Responsibilities:- Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications- Maintain and update customer credit records in CRM and ERP systems- Resolve customer inquiries and provide top-notch customer service- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status- Understand and manage inventory and logistics operations- Assist in packing orders and warehouse duties as required- Utilize software tools such as Sage 100, ScanForce Edition, Excel, and Outlook for daily tasks- Perform inventory audits and ensure accuracy of records- Coordinate transportation logistics and ensure timely delivery of orders- Adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate safety gear like steel-toe boots.- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Logistics Coordinator role or similar within the Manufacturing industry.- Proficient in CRM and ERP Solutions, including Enterprise Resource Planning.- Familiarity with 'About Time' software is advantageous.- Experience in handling Billing Functions is required.- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written.- Proven track record in providing exceptional Customer Service.- Knowledge of Customs procedures and regulations.- Ability to conduct Inventory Audits.- Experience in Transportation Logistics and Warehouse Duties.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Must possess problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented.- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for potential travel requirements.- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
