Job Description

Our client, a market-leading company in the industry, is currently on the lookout for a motivated, accomplished and meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join their proficient finance team. This position will play a significant role in overseeing and directing the financial functioning of the organization.Key Responsibilities:- Management of day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial reports are compiled accurately and within deadlines. - Supervision of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting. - Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax regulations. - Preparation of financial statements and presentation of reports to senior management. - Development of internal control procedures and policies to maximize efficiency and protect company assets. - Supervise, direct, and manage the accounting team offering guidance and training to help them achieve their potential. - Collaborate effectively with different departments to set budgets, accomplish financial goals, and make informed decisions.Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A master's degree or CPA will be preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with considerable supervisory experience. - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Impeccable understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Outstanding managerial and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Strong analytical abilities, detail-oriented, and ability to work under strict deadlines. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.The successful candidate will be a natural leader with a commitment to accuracy and precision who enjoys the merits of structuring and extending a department's success.
