Bank Credit Analyst 7-month Contract Opportunity located in Toronto, OntarioWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bank Credit Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. This role will be centered in the finance industry, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from processing customer applications to maintaining accurate records. You will also be tasked with resolving customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts to take appropriate action. This Bank Credit Analyst role is a 7-month contract opportunity located in Toronto, Ontario (hybrid role working 2 days on site & 3 days remote).Responsibilities:- Accurately process and efficiently handle customer credit applications.- Maintain meticulous records of customer credit information.- Act as a liaison between the back office and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and processes.- Carry out daily reviews of retail client trading, hedge funds, large institutional trading, pension funds, and small retail funds.- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and ensure compliance management.- Handle the onboarding process for clients, determining the types of accounts to open and how to set them up in the portal.- Routinely review and document processes internally, adhering to institutional regulations.- Set up new accounts and follow up on institutional regulations.- Handle the negotiation of settlements and manage settlement processes.- Use compliance software and other internal systems to maintain accurate records and pull statements.- Undergraduate university or college degree - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience at a financial institution - Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the securities industry and a keen interest in building on this knowledge base - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Agility with systems and technology - Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with time-sensitive deliverables and competing priorities - Strong work ethic and achievement orientation to ensure adherence to leading practice - A self-starter who works well both independently and within a team structureRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
