Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product compliance to quality standards by closely monitoring production processes, raw materials, and maintaining our laboratory. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our products and services.Responsibilities:- Regularly review production and batch reports to identify any potential impacts on product quality.- Conduct Random Sampling Program to ensure ongoing quality of produced material.- Evaluate and release on-hold materials based on results and visual inspection methods.- Monitor the quality of raw material sources through review of certificates of analysis, random sampling, and testing.- Conduct internal testing for new formulations and raw material sources to ensure they meet quality standards.- Generate Certificates of Analysis and create special reports as needed.- Prepare small batch samples of formulations as required.- Design and conduct experimental testing related to product complaints, based on the nature of the complaint.- Maintain stock and calibration of laboratory supplies, ordering items as needed or when calibration is required.- Oversee external testing and maintain relationships with analytical laboratory vendors.- Maintain all Quality Control documents and upkeep of Quality Control Database for internal use.- Maintain quality service by adhering to organization standards.- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.- Keep technical knowledge up-to-date by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role - Demonstrable proficiency in ISO Quality Standards - Proven ability to perform Quality Assurance tasks effectively - Experience in QC - Quality Control and QA - Quality Assurance - Familiarity with Quality Assurance Environments and methodologies - Understanding of Quality Assurance Quality Control procedures - Knowledge of Quality Assurance Standards - Experience conducting Quality Audits - Ability to perform Quality Control Activities and follow Quality Control Procedures - Proven track record in Quality Improvement - Experience in Quality Inspection and resolving Quality Issues - Ability to understand and utilize Quality Metrics - Experience in Quality reporting - Familiarity with Quality Standards - Experience with Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) is a plus.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
