Are you a Finance Assistant looking for a new venture?
We are recruiting for a well-established, third-generation family business in Blackpool. As they continue to grow and expand, they are excited to welcome a Finance Assistant to their friendly team. This new role has been created due to the company's substantial growth and will focus on managing all transactional processes, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills within a nurturing environment.
As a Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:
The month end closure and associated reconciliations across both sales and purchase ledgers
All sales ledger processes
Management of credit control, taking payments, setting up new customers and liaising with the sales team
Manage and process all purchase ledger transactions, including raising payments, supplier statement reconciliations.
Cash book management, including the posting of receipts, payments, daily bank reconciliation
The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience from a similar role, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to their work and enjoys working as part of a team.
