Project Controls Engineer, Bristol

Main Activities:
By delegation of the Risk and opportunities and Change Manager, the Change Management Coordinator will be part of the Consortium Leader Team and responsible for activities such as:
- Local coordination of the Change Management process encompassing contractual events and design changes.
- Liaising with Central Project Controls teams, particularly the change management and contract management teams of the consortium.
- Assisting engineering teams in drafting Engaging Change Requests (CRs) and Activity at Completion (A@Cs) for SZC project.
- Aiding engineering teams in responding to and creating contractual events in collaboration with the Commercial Manager and contracts team.
- Coordinating with the SZC Risk and Opportunity coordinator to ensure alignment with the risk register.
- Collaborating with the SZC Cost Control team to ensure accurate updates of cost impacts/budget in the Unifier tool.
- Collaborating with the SZC Schedule team to ensure accurate updates of schedule impacts in the Unifier tool.
- Coordinating with the SZC List of Deliverables Manager to ensure LOD impacts are accurately updated and implemented in the LOD tool, Paladin.
- Collaborating with France Change Coordinator to ensure the progress of SZC CRs (quality check, validation/opening of change requests) in the Change Request tool.
- Preparation and coordination of SZC bi-weekly CRs review meetings (openings and approvals)
- Supporting the SZC project team in producing monthly reports through the provision of insightful information and analysis.
- Update of Change assumption note when it’s needed.
These activities will involve close collaboration with the engineering and Project Control teams based in both France and Bristol.
Required technical skills
- Communication: Clear and concise communication is essential for explaining changes and addressing concerns.
- Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and monitoring change initiatives are necessary to ensure they are completed on time.
- Consortium entities engagement: Building relationships with various stakeholders is crucial for ensuring a successful and smooth change process.
- Project and change management Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with influencing abilities.
- Capable of working both independently and within a team, taking ownership of problems within one's capacity and responsibility.
- Results-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
