Mechanical Technician– (6-month FTC)

Are you an experience Mechanical Engineer within a FMCG environment?

Are you able to adapt to new machinery due to your industry experience?

Are you passionate about Engineering and supporting a major operation?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Mechanical Technician. This is a 6-month FTC role based in Cwmbrân.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and repair breakdowns on all production lines.
• Adhere to the CMMS for all reporting, PM, and repairs.
• Improve OEE performance by proactively preventing failures – innovative ideas.
• Maintain and improve on-site health & safety.
• Consult with operators on best practice in terms of mechanical equipment.
• Undertake further training to ensure skills are a high level for technical support.

What are we looking for?

• FMCG experience preferred
• Previous experience with predictive/planned maintenance and CI
• Educated in an Engineering discipline (ONC +)
• CMMS user experience
