Job Description

Minimum requirements: Qualifications and experience : LLB Degree or similar Qualification Completed legal articles. 3 -5 years experience in Contract drafting, reviewing and International Labour Law practices. Responsibilities : Research and Interpretation: Research, interpret, and apply international labour laws and treaties. Advisory Role: Advise ADV on matters related to international labour law, including business transactions, claims, and disputes with foreign entities. Contract Drafting and Review: Draft and review international contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Negotiation: Negotiate settlements in international labour disputes. Compliance: Ensure compliance with international labour standards and regulations. Updates and Developments: Stay updated with changes and developments in international labour law. Human Rights: Provide legal guidance on matters of international human rights, trade and labour law. Contract Specialist Responsibilities : Contract Management: Manage, prepare, and analyse contracts and agreements. Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management Drafting and Reviewing: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts terms and agreements. Review and draft contracts, agreements, restraint of trades or confidentiality agreements, advise on internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assess the businesss future ventures to identify possible compliance risks within the labour market. Communication: Communicate with vendors and clients to clarify contract terms. Market Research: Conduct market research to ensure ADV are in line with market trends. Performance Analysis: Analyse contract performance to identify areas for improvement. Policy Implementation: Implement contract management policies and procedures. Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures. Monitoring: Monitor contract execution to ensure obligations are met. Dispute Resolution: Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely manner. Coordination: Coordinate with compliance, finance, and other departments. Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of contract documents and communications. Formulate compliance checklists to be used for the purpose of ensuring company policies, procedures and process are correctly managed and governed Bargaining Councils Advise on and interact with bargaining councils globally.
