EL / PL Fraud Solicitor – Manchester – up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package – Generous Bonus Scheme

The Role

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Casualty Fruad Team, it is now seeking to appoint a Solicitor to work alongside its existing Casualty Team dealing with Employers and Public Liability Fraud claims.

The role will involve managing a mixed caseload of Defendant fast-track and multi-track fraud EL/PL matters. There will also be the opportunity to support Partners on high value cases.

The ideal candidate will have experience of defending litigated claims where fraud is alleged with excellent knowledge of the CPR and litigation.

There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong lawyer with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.

The Candidate

• A 0-3 year PQE solicitor, preferably with experience defending litigated claims when fraud is alleged
• Excellent knowledge of the CRP and litigation
• Excellent organisation sills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
• High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
• The ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically is key together with proficient IT skills.
