Production & Planning Manager - £30,000 to £33,000 DOE


The Production and Planning Manager plays a crucial role within STM Agency, supporting and managing creative projects across video, social media, and photography accounts. You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, as well as with our sister photography agency, Eat&Breathe, to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.

Your role as Production & Planning Manager is a mid-level position within the Client Services team, requiring you to have excellent organisational skills as well as good internal and external communication skills and a solid understanding of the different agency functions including create, code and reach.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:


Project Oversight (50%):

Manage the production elements of creative projects across video, social media, and photography accounts either in their entirety or alongside agency partners from Eat&Breathe.

Coordinate with creative teams, including designers, videographers, photographers, and social media managers/content creators, to deliver high-quality content.

Steer the project delivery process through effective utilisation of communication and internal management tools, including but not limited to Teams and Synergist.

Recognise and reduce project risks while ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Manage all planning and production facets of projects within your team, including pre-production, production, and post-production through to final client output.

Encourage innovative approaches to creative and content production, exploring new tools, techniques, and workflows with input from all relevant stakeholders.


Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management (20%):

Nurture robust relationships with mid-level clients during the planning and production phases, ensuring the timely and on-budget delivery of high-quality work.

Serve as a liaison between clients and the agency, addressing client concerns and requirements effectively.

Engage with key stakeholders across STM Agency and Eat&Breathe, ensuring their input and expertise are integrated into project planning and execution.



Budget Management & Admin (15%):

Develop and manage project budgets, tracking client costs from quotes to invoices for both STM and Eat&Breathe clients.

Support in the creation of accurate and profitable cost estimates/quotes to clients, balancing value with commercial viability for the agency.

Bridging the admin gap between STM Agency and Eat & Breathe, supporting the quoting process for Eat & Breathe and raising internal group invoices with the help of the Finance Team.

Contribute to monitoring client forecasted sales and profitability alongside senior management.

Oversee time management on all production aspects from creative to final outputs, escalating any inefficiencies to your AD.


Problem Solving and Innovation (10%):

Resolve project challenges promptly and efficiently, fostering project momentum and positive client sentiment.

Ensure final deliverables meet client expectations through regular project reviews and adherence to quality standards.


Quality Assurance (5%):

Uphold quality standards and ensure client expectations are met without over-promising or over-delivering.

Conduct regular project reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and address any deviations promptly.


Success Metrics:

Demonstrated expression of agency values: curiosity, agility, and positivity.

Adherence to company policies and effective use of tools and software.

Achievement of set objectives for agency, department, team, and personal targets.

High levels of client satisfaction and growth, reflected in positive feedback and account expansion.

Positive feedback from team members, stakeholders, and peers across the agency, including Eat&Breathe.
