Job Purpose
As a Project Manager at Nebu~Flow, your role will encompass the complete planning and execution of our new category, next generation of nebulisers for efficient respiratory drug delivery. The project manager will ensure high quality delivery, efficient scheduling, effective risk management, and accurate forecasting. Collaborating seamlessly with the scientific and engineering leads, you will be working with the management and operational teams to ensure the smooth progress of projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure “Project Success” and ensure the delivery of milestones.

Background:
Nebu~Flow is a small company, rapidly growing to develop a new category of nebulisers. Following successful delivery of our prototype, we are opening new positions to accelerate our product development activities.

About You
It is anticipated that the applicant will have a background (minimum BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with previous experience in medical devices (desirable). It is essential that you have relevant experience working as a project manager, most likely within medical device industry and quality management system (ISO13485). You will have the ability to understand the standards of project management, reporting, health and safety management and grant proposal writing. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to work with a team of engineers and scientists from different backgrounds to develop prototypes and the final products.
Your remit will include:
· Creating and maintaining detailed product delivery plans with specified timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
· Working with the management team on the day-to-day workload such as arranging meetings, making purchases, recording of project progress, attending project meetings and coordinating with suppliers.
· Setting-up and maintaining project management infrastructure using the tools you feel are best suited to the job (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Agile, PRINCE2, waterfall, etc.).
· Assisting or leading in the preparation of funding applications.
· Keeping an awareness of company-wide operations, identifying business risks, and advising when additional resources are required.
· Managing and monitoring project progress and preparing reports for funding bodies where appropriate.
· Preparing and maintaining QMS and DHF documentation as appropriate.
· Setup and management of the laboratory with the operational team. This includes preparing and maintaining risk registers, COSHH forms, health and safety reports and arranging for consumables ordering.
· Working as part of the team and coordinating activities with both internal and external teams.
· Preparing reports and presentations.
Skills / Experience
· Previous experience of successful project management and delivery is essential.
· Experience in setting up and maintaining project management platforms (such as Jira or Microsoft Project) is essential.
· Strong understanding of product development lifecycle (preferably under ISO13485 medical device design control) with experience of planning and delivering on all key development stage milestones.
· Experience with change control processes is desirable.
· Experience in applying project management tools (such as Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall, or Lean) is essential.
· Sound scientific understanding of electronics, fluid mechanics, and wet chemistry is desirable.
· Previous experience of delivering on technical projects
· Good understanding of the workload in laboratories
· Knowledge of aerosol science in desirable
· Confident user of Microsoft office packages, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
