What you will do

Our Service Engineer’s deliver the service and maintenance of portable Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets and Hose Reels for our customers premises. You will be joining a team completing servicing on Fire Alarms, Fire Valves, Fire Doors and other Fire Safety equipment.

The successful candidate will be confident in working on their own as well as part of a team taking direction from their manager and meeting with the requirements of both the customer and Johnson Controls. The ideal candidate will take personal responsibility for service delivery, quality and health and safety by acting as a role model to meet and exceed customer expectations as well as advising our customers and the business of remedial actions required and potential upgrades.

The successful candidate will work year-round on a single site in South Wales, completing a four-person team.

How you will do it

  • Carrying out of Service and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets and Hose Reels

  • Understanding of BS5306:3, BS5306:9, BS306:8

  • Available for call out rota

  • Customer interpersonal skills

  • Fault find and undertake inspections

  • Compliance with quality procedures and documentation

  • Assist lead engineers in completing multi-discipline works
