A great opportunity has arisen to join a global leader in the renewable energy sector on a permanent staff role for a Senior Legal Counsel. You will advise on all stages of renewable energy projects with particular focus on projects in the UK, Ireland and Germany, including permitting, construction, PPAs, project acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, financing.

Your day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide high level, responsive legal advice and support to my Client's West Europe business unit.
- Understands the business and the legal systems within which the business operates.
- Follow systems and procedures within the Legal Team and the business.
- Assists in formulating the processes and procedures of the Legal Team.
- Manage time effectively to meet contracts deadlines.
- Follow all processes and procedures for the approval and signing of contracts.
- Liaise with other lawyers to ensure consistency of approach and “shared learning”.
You will be required to demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be considered an asset.
- 4+ years’ experience in the solar/renewable energy sector in the UK and, preferably also in other European countries.
- Detailed knowledge of solar PV development, acquisitions and disposals, EPC and O&M contracts, project finance and PPAs.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Full UK Working Rights.
