Job Description

SRG are excited to be working with a global biotechnology company to help them find a Data Analyst to support a busy time for the company.


This is a great opportunity for a graduate with skills in statistics/bioinformatics/programming/data science.


The contract will be for 3-6 months but may be extended.


The Role:

  • Provide bio statistical consultation and support to the Assay Development team
  • Prepare statistical data for inclusion in reports to the development team, to QA/RA for inclusion in regulatory filings, managers and executive management teams.
  • Provide statistical support for development activities, validation activities and clinical studies.
  • Determine project plans, timelines, or technical objectives for statistical aspects of studies
  • Interrogate performance data generated by the development team to draw conclusions and make predictions based on data summaries or statistical analyses.
  • Develop or implement data analysis scripts and programmes
  • Apply statistical techniques to data sets (i.e. ROC curves, CI, Bootstrapping) and implement data visualisation.
  • Develop programs to visualise large data sets such that process improvements can be more easily recognised.
  • Work closely with Quality and Regulatory Affairs personnel to create an appropriate statistical basis for validation plans, clinical trials and other data required for regulatory submissions.
  • Work closely with external collaborators as required throughout the project.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting of scripts, and statistical issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation.


Requirements:

  • MSc in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred. BSc graduates with relevant and proved experience will still be considered.
  • Knowledge of statistical packages
  • Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, R and Willing to learn new environments and technologies as required.
  • Experience with databases
  • Data visualisation and modelling
  • Experience in documenting and testing computational code
