Job Description

Purpose of job:


Our aim is to become a market leader in the provision of Electric Vehicle charging solutions to Local Authorities and Businesses as part of our strategy to lead the transition to zero carbon.


The goal is to undertake an ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program, deploying high volume and quality EV installations across the nation. Our aim is to make the world a better place, one charge point at a time.


The Network Operations Coordinator will work within Zest’s Network Operations team to provide assistance and support mainly to the Network Operations Manager, Head of IT and report into the Technical Director.


Key Accountabilities:


The role is responsible for the following:

  • Taking ownership of allocated work, systems and prioritize workload.
  • Continuously and accurately update operational systems, includes EV assets on back-office systems and SimPro ERP System.
  • Assist with procurement activities for the Network Operations (Including IT) teams.
  • Own the SIM Card and branding of EV Assets process, working with the field service team to maintain levels.
  • Support and utilise Zendesk ticketing system across whole of Network Operations.
  • Manage and maintain IT software and hardware through inventory management including tracking of assets through asset management system.
  • Be able to provide IT support guidance on a first line capacity where required.
  • Help support implementation of projects and initiatives within the whole Network Operations team.
  • Plus, any other duties as required by the leadership team



Outcome, Results and Key performance indicators:

  • Accurate and up to date back-office and ERP systems.
  • Responding to Zendesk tickets in the required SLA’s.
  • Maintaining stock levels of branding, SIMs and IT equipment.



Key Relationships:

  • Internal – IT, ITSD, CX, Field Service & Customer Services
  • External – Suppliers

  • Competent at managing stakeholder, internal customer and supplier relationships and expectations.
  • Ability to deal with complex queries.
  • Flexible to changing priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly to meet expectations.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A* - C
  • Experience working in a similar role or environment
