With a specific focus on the Switchgear and Busway lines of business, the Senior Program Manager supports the EMEA sales and project execution teams for the largest global accounts in the organization. POSITION SUMMARY There is very high expectation for growth in these global accounts through new product and service program delivery and increasing levels of customer service as applicable. The manager will interact with all levels of management to influence and lead decision-makers and team leaders. The role is to help define, lead, direct and coordinate all aspects of sales and execution interface in the EMEA region. This role will interface closely with the overall Global Account Program Director, ensuring close alignment on strategy and execution for the account, working with and through lines of business, regional sales and service organizations and leadership. Teamwork with global divisions of Vertiv is of paramount importance as is the ability to work well with respected executive leaders for each client. RESPONSIBILITIES Build, develop and maintain business relationships, as well as the customer satisfaction level, for the largest global accounts in the organization. Provide direct end client interface to ensure timely delivery of requested commercial quotations and technical submissions by interfacing with applications engineering, estimating and project management. Develop business opportunities, for short and long-term goals defined as part of the corporate strategy. Ensure existing customer portfolio is developed and maintained at all levels to ensure positive customer satisfaction. Close coordination with Global manufacturing, project management & delivery functions to ensure overall customer requirements are met. Ensure service and delivery execution and delivery of contract requirements and customer expectations by enforcing cross-functional management of operational teams. Regular interaction and accountability to Senior / C- Level leadership across Vertiv. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Higher level Engineering qualification and/or Degree in Engineering management. 5+ years' industrial experience in a client facing project management role. Strong working experience and project management within high profile accounts. Demonstrated ability to close complex transactions through direct influence with multiple decision makers. Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Must be a self-starter and follow projects to completion with minimal supervision. Must be able to work under different levels of pressure with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Effective motivator with an enthusiastic desire to succeed is desired. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Office based role with no specific physical / Environmental demands. TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED Travel < 10% - Extensive domestic and some international travel will be required as needed.
