Location: Doncaster

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus package including

- Pension & Benefits
- Company Car / Car Allowance
- 26+ days annual leave

Summary

A successful family-owned international construction company is looking to take on an experienced Temporary Works Designer to join their dynamic, collaborative in house team and working on exciting projects across a variety of sectors including but not limited to civil engineering, basement construction, frame construction, data, life sciences commercial, marine and rail.

You will be:

- Responsible for the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for temporary works (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments and design certificates
- Proposing and/or developing value engineered alternative solutions (during tender or construction phases)
- Liaising with Temporary Works Coordinators, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team and Suppliers
- Developing, instigating and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design
- Currently or aspiring to be a Chartered Engineer

Joining an international team who are collaboratively breaking new ground by transforming temporary works designs you will be a strong decision maker with logical methodology.

You will have:

- Completed a third level structural, civil or design engineering qualification
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in design engineering
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction or Temporary Works Design Engineering
