Senior Residential Property Conveyancer

Our client is a Chambers listed Legal 500 modern law firm in central Reading. Its Property team is recruiting an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer to join as Head of Department to manage a team of six.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Experience of managing and leading a team
  • Previous experience of preparing and managing budgets
  • Strong technical ability to run and manage complex residential property matters
  • Being an active participant of marketing and business development and demonstrate a willingness to grow the area of work and have an excellent track record of building good relationships with referrers

Relevant technical experience will include handling:


  • Freehold/leasehold sales and purchases
  • Unregistered and registered titles
  • Auction and Probate sales
  • Transfer of equity
  • Matrimonial property matters

The caseload is predominantly high value properties for high net worth individuals and some experience of working on developer and Government sponsored house purchase incentive schemes would be an advantage.

Salary £70,000-£95,000, package benefits plus a flexible working policy, pension scheme, life assurance, private medical and competitive annual leave allowance.

Candidate must have a minimum 8+ years’ experience
