Share Schemes Tax Associate Director
Manchester (can be located out of any of their national offices) + flexible/hybrid working
£70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus
Join a dynamic Incentives & Reward team where you'll take on a varied and stimulating role, helping both listed and private companies design, implement, and manage share and cash incentive plans in the UK and internationally. You'll also ensure clients meet all necessary tax, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Your Role:
This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from global corporations to fast-growing private companies across various sectors. The team welcomes professionals from different backgrounds, including tax specialists, accountants, lawyers, and those with in-house share incentive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on the design and structure of employee share and cash incentive schemes.
- Support clients in implementing these plans both in the UK and globally.
- Provide guidance on the tax and legal ramifications for employers and employees worldwide.
- Develop tax-efficient strategies for delivering incentives.
- Draft essential documents such as share plan rules, FAQs, and tax guides.
- Inform clients of changes in tax and legal regulations affecting incentives.
- Assist with business development and building client relationships.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in UK and/or global incentive plan consulting.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA, Solicitor, or Barrister are advantageous.
- Knowledge of share plans in professional services or industry, with an understanding of relevant legislation.
