Company Description

Shuffle Up is a start-up based in Malta, specializing in B2B and B2C online gaming casino and sportsbook operations on our proprietary platform. With a solid industry background, we are preparing for our first jurisdiction go-live date in spring 2024, followed by several exciting launches throughout the year.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Platform Engineer at Shuffle Up. As a Junior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, software development, infrastructure management, programming, and database management. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our proprietary platform.

Technical Environment

At Shuffle Up, we utilize a range of modern tools and technologies to power our platform. While familiarity with these tools is a plus. However, experience with similar tools or the ability to quickly learn and adapt is essential.

Cloud: GCP & AWS

CI/CD: Gitlab CI & ArgoCD

Container Orchestration: Kubernetes

Infrastructure as Code: Crossplane

Monitoring: Grafana Stack

Database: Postgres

Streaming Platforms: Apache Kafka

Scripting: Bash, Python, Go

Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting skills

Experience in software development

Knowledge of infrastructure management

Ability to work independently and remotely

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience in the gaming or online casino industry is a plus
