Job Title: Senior Site Engineer (Water Civils Project)

Location: Solihull

Pay Rate: £275 to £300 per day

Ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role as a Site Engineer in civil engineering? Future Build Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to join a medium-sized civil engineering contractor for a £2m water sector project in Solihull. This project involves the construction of a new chemical dosing facility and includes the following key works:

• Construction of 7 large structural slabs for equipment.
• Installation of new ductwork, pipework, and cabling.
• Infill works, new paving, and the construction of an access road towards the end of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Covering all engineering needs on site, including setting out.
• Managing and completing engineering paperwork, including ITPs, site diaries, and daily site records.
• Providing technical guidance and support to site staff and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on civils projects.
• Proficiency in setting out and using relevant engineering equipment.
• Comfortable with engineering paperwork, including ITPs, site diaries, and daily site records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This project is scheduled to run for 35 weeks, with the opportunity for continued work on future projects in the Solihull area thereafter.
