Job Description
Position: Mechanical Project Manager Location: Belfast Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Mechanical Project Manager in Belfast! About the Role: Our client, a well-established company in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical installations on various projects in Belfast. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of mechanical project delivery, from initial planning to final completion, ensuring that mechanical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the mechanical aspects of projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. Coordinate project planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met. Monitor project progress, ensuring mechanical systems are installed in compliance with building regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status. Prepare detailed project reports, cost estimates, and risk assessments. Ensure proper handover of mechanical systems, including commissioning, testing, and documentation. Work closely with the construction team to integrate mechanical systems with other project elements. Manage project resources effectively to deliver on time and within budget. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally in construction or building services. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and building regulations. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
