IT Support Engineer (Hyper-V) - Milton Keynes - New Role

+++ 3 days a week in Milton Keynes +++

A leading organisation in the Milton Keynes area requires an IT Engineer to joins its growing team. This team is responsible for the installation and support of all technical platforms, Operating Systems, Authentication Systems and associated products delivered internally. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the IT Engineer will work alongside specialists within the Team, taking responsibility for all aspects of IT support.

Suitable candidates will have the folloiwng:

• Circa 3 years experiencbe in a similar role.
• Windows Server Platform System Administration
• Microsoft Intune Management & Administration
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
• Experience of Virtualisation Technologies (including Hyper-V)
• Experience of Networking Concepts, Topologies and Maintenance, with focus on Cisco technologies
• Experience of Service Monitoring and Alerting
• Experience of routine Infrastructure Upgrades and Application Patching

Any exposure to the folloiwng would be useful but not essential:

• Microsoft Azure Active Directory Administration
• Ivanti Security Essentials (Patch Management)
• BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management
• Mimecast E-Mail Security Management
• Basic SQL Server administration
• Windows Failover Cluster Management
• Windows PowerShell Administration / Scripting skills
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) compliance
• Knowledge of ITIL Foundation principles and application
• Knowledge of ISO27001, ISO27018 and ISO9001 Certification
• Relevant Vendor certifications
