Our client a leading innovator in the Marine Industry known for pushing the boundaries of marine technology, dedicated to redefining the marine sector with state-of-the art solutions is searching for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth.

The Role:
The design and implementation of large-scale marine electrical installations, with a focus on groundbreaking products
Collaborate with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and develop vessel=specific system variants
Work with ATEX- rated installations to ensure compliance and safety in hazardous environments
Utilise professional electrical drawings software (EPlan) to create detailed designs
Integrate electrical systems into advances marine technology solutions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team
Provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence from concept to implementation
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Masters Degree Preferred)
Proven experience in marine or industrial control electrical installations, with strong competence in electrical installations and panel design
Understanding of the complexities and challenges in the marine sector
Experience with ATEX/IEC Ex rated installations is desirable
Proficiency with EPlan or similar electrical drawing packages is preferred (training can be provided).
