Job Description
Location: Belfast Workplace: Hybrid The Opportunity: The Rewards Manager will provide analytical and project management support for the Firm's compensation programs. The responsibilities include participating in compensation surveys, analysing market data and job descriptions, producing reports, assisting with Executive Benchmarking, and participating in departmental projects to support the Firm's compensation strategy. About the role: As part of this role, the successful candidate will: Responsibilities: Provide strong consultative guidance, analysis, reporting, market practices, and clarification of policies to managers. Lead the compensation survey process, working with HR colleagues, business leaders, and survey providers to ensure accurate job matches are made. Study and analyse market data and trends to assist in the determination of salary and job grades to support the Firm's compensation strategy. Produce standard periodic and ad hoc reporting for other functional departments including but not limited to Finance, Technology, Business Development, Inclusion and Diversity, and Professional Services Track key issues, practices, and trends in compensation by participating in industry groups, conducting benchmarking studies, and gathering market intelligence from internal and external recruiters. Support the ongoing development of Firm-Wide compensation practices, policies, and processes. Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop competitive compensation offers for new hires. Support the annual compensation review process of C-Suite executives working with team leadership to ensure accurate and current benchmarking data is available. Know and follow the policies and procedures of the Firm, share information that would benefit other members of the team, and find ways to improve the delivery of service to our customers. Strive to continually strengthen the Firm's business philosophy of meeting needs and exceeding expectations for customers specifically supporting the team's commitment to service which involves doing what's right for our customers, and focusing on strategies that add value and support growth. Work with sensitive and confidential information and maintain and safeguard this information at all times. To develop solid working relationships with individuals both internally and externally to strengthen the compensation and human resources efforts throughout the Firm. Experience Required Essential Criteria: To be successful in this role you will need: Skills and Experience: Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business or human resources. Willis Towers Watson / Mercer experience desirable. Prior experience in compensation analysis with a basic understanding of survey submission procedures and job matching. Prior human resource-related work experience in employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and HR systems is preferred. Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Understanding of relational databases and human resources management systems is preferred. Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to multiple audiences and purposes. Strong appreciation for the retention and management of confidential information. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously. Strong problem-solving, listening, evaluating skills and attention to detail.
