About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Leveraged Finance Associate with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience to work closely with the firm's leading finance partners. The role involves:
- Transactional Work: Playing a key role in the execution of complex, cross-border leveraged finance transactions, particularly leveraged buyouts.
- Client Engagement: Working directly with international private equity firms, investment managers, and a diverse client base, ensuring high-quality legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Document Drafting: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing documentation to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborative Projects: Collaborating with the wider finance team on loan restructurings and other corporate finance transactions.
- Strategic Involvement: Assisting in structuring and negotiating financing arrangements, offering strategic insight throughout the transaction process.
Responsibilities:
- Qualified Solicitor: Admitted to practice in England and Wales, with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Specialisation in Leveraged Finance: Strong experience in leveraged finance, ideally gained at a leading US, Magic Circle, or top international law firm.
- Cross-Border Expertise: Proven experience in handling cross-border transactions and leveraged buyouts.
Required Skills:
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to deliver pragmatic legal solutions in a high-pressure environment.
