Job Description

Are you an experienced, skilled engineer? Do you have the desire to develop your skillset into repairing, servicing and fault-finding a diverse range of medical devices? If you said ‘yes’ to both questions, then this could be the role for you. Our client is searching for a new Field Service Engineer to join their ranks and provide great service (in both quality and customer service) to their customers in this region.

What you’ll be doing

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be repairing, fault-finding, and providing preventative maintenance on our client's diverse range of medical devices.


Your day-to-day might look a little like this:

• Communicating with customers and staff at all levels promptly and professionally, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the plan of action

• Identifying opportunities for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness in the devices you work on

• Ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level, and escalating any situation where customer satisfaction is compromised

• Attending product training courses to maintain the most current knowledge of the market


A bit about you

Ideally, you’ll be based in Norfolk, UK and be able to travel to different sites around the region for work.


You’ll have existing experience in engineering with a transferable skillset to medical device installation, service, and support.


A few other key skills we are looking for:

• A quick learner, specific engineering needs for each device should come quickly to you

• The ability to gain respect of stakeholders at all levels, both through customer service and quality of service

• A willingness to learn about the world of medical devices and grow your skillset

• Strong IT, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure skills
