Job Description

About the Company

Dagmar is a fast growing, high-end Scandinavian design brand headquartered in London with a well established global customer base. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Developer to help us meet our ambitious growth targets over the coming years. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of furniture manufacturing and a genuine passion for modern design. Our furniture collections include contemporary pieces as well as iconic Scandinavian designs re-launched under licence. We have a strict focus on quality craftsmanship and traditional methods of production, working exclusively with small-batch Scandinavian manufacturers.

About The Role

You will be part of an agile operations team and work closely with our external manufacturing partners in Denmark and Sweden. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory stock levels and the smooth running of all aspects of our supply chain, and logistics operations. This includes tasks such as analysing inventory data, generating purchase orders for external manufacturers, coordinating with suppliers and partners to ensure products are made on time and to budget, managing shipments and customer deliveries and assisting the product team with new development projects. The role is located in Greater London with flexibility for some remote work.

As part of a rapidly growing team it is essential that you are proactive and comfortable working autonomously. The role requires someone who has the drive and creativity required to meet our ambitious targets. You will report directly to the CEO and be a senior member of our team. An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners and suppliers is essential. Prior experience working in the furniture or interiors industry would be extremely beneficial. This is an incredible opportunity to help build a brand and be part of our journey.

Responsibilities & Experience

  • Ability to analyse inventory data and identify trends and potential cost efficiencies
  • Experience with ERP software such as NetSuite or Katana for inventory management and sales forecasting
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices in the manufacturing sector
  • Expertise in logistics management, including coordinating shipments and managing deliveries to end consumers
  • Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a comparable role
  • Experience in the furniture or design industries is considered a plus

What We Offer

We offer a fast-paced and rewarding working environment with a young team who are dedicated to meeting our ambitious goals. Quality is at the heart of everything we do from the products we design and make to the customer experience we strive to offer. We have an entrepreneurial culture and encourage team members at all levels to contribute their own ideas and shape the company they want to work for. Our recently refurbished offices and showroom are located in Clerkenwell in the heart of London’s architecture and design district. We encourage all employees to work on-site as much as possible to foster a collaborative and personal work ethic. Hybrid working will also be considered.

  • £50k base salary
  • Company profit-share scheme after qualifying period
