Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of an IT Project Coordinator to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the IT industry. The IT Project Coordinator will be instrumental in assisting with project planning, coordination, communication, and documentation. They will also play a pivotal role in resource management, quality assurance, risk management, administrative support, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation of project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring all activities adhere to set deadlines.
• Facilitate open and effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items to keep all parties informed.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, issue logs, and risk registers.
• Coordinate resources and equipment necessary for project execution and monitor their utilization.
• Support quality assurance activities to ensure all project deliverables meet established standards.
• Help with the identification and assessment of project risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring their effectiveness.
• Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and managing expenses.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing their concerns promptly and effectively.
• Contribute to process improvements and proactively identify opportunities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team, ensuring clear and consistent communication.• Proficiency in IT Project Coordination
• Strong communication skills for effective team and client interactions
• Ability to document processes, plans, and project progress
• Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile
• Knowledge of auditing processes and tools
• Ability to track project progress and report on key metrics
• Experience acting as a liaison between various stakeholders
• Proficiency in expense reporting and budget management
• Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
• Experience with software conductivity testing
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience providing administrative assistance in a technical environment
• Ability to maintain logs and records of project activities
• Experience driving process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and risk management
• Ability to manage project deliverables and timelines
• Proficiency in coordination of tasks and resources
• Experience with JIRA for project management
