Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Warehouse position in an exciting warehouse facility!

We are seeking a Shipping Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for handling both domestic and international shipments, including preparing export documentation and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of FedEx software, international shipping practices, and customs requirements.

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Full-Time)

Work Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Provide freight quotes and generate Proforma Invoices as needed.
• Prepare required shipping and export documentation for international shipments.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to facilitate timely processing of customer orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
• Resolve customer issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Maintain customer profiles and task-specific SOPs for international clients.
• Support Sales and Customer Service teams with shipping and logistics needs.
• Handle additional tasks within the Shipping and Receiving department as necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in a shipping or logistics role with expertise in FedEx software and international shipping.
• Customs Knowledge: Solid understanding of customs requirements for international shipments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Preferred Certification: DOT/DG certification is a plus.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team Collaboration: Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across all levels of the organization.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
