Location: Lake Elsinore, CA (100% onsite)
Job Title: Entry Level Solar Project Engineer
Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20-$24 per hour
Summary: Solar construction, the project engineer will manage projects from inception to completion. As a third-party intermediary, we engage with customers through sales representatives and ourselves if needed. We also collaborate with multiple contractors and financiers. We are seeking a skilled Engineer with experience with reading and correcting PV plan sets in order to move our projects seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate project details and progress internally as well as; sales representatives, homeowners, contractors, and our third party Engineers.
Utilize Google Drive and other relevant software tools for project documentation and collaboration.
Collaborate with contractors and other engineers to develop PV plan sets.
Ensuring timely (1-2 business days) completion of project milestones.
Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables efficiently.
Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to project movement, exceeding expectations when necessary.
Comfortably operate within an office environment, collaborating with team members and utilizing office resources effectively.
Skills and Qualifications:
Possess reliable transportation for office arrival and potential permit runs.
Minimum of one year of experience in solar-related project management or a similar field and/or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with CAD.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing project requirements and priorities.
Adapt quickly to dynamic project scenarios and address challenges pro actively on a daily basis.
Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to resolve issues promptly and ensure project continuity.
