General Manager R&D

Supervise product development, improvement, and commercialization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with senior leaders to shape and refine R&D strategies. Work closely with global Centers of Excellence (COEs) and cross-functional teams to implement and expand innovations. Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through to market introduction. Ensure that products are manufactured with optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and flexibility. Coordinate with manufacturing and co-manufacturers to ensure smooth project transitions. Partner with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and factory teams to align innovation efforts with business objectives. Collaborate with global COEs and Technology teams to define long-term innovation strategies. Lead and mentor a large team of R&D professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation. Motivate and engage team members to align their efforts with the companys goals. Influence stakeholders and provide expert advice to guide business strategies and innovation pipelines. Promote cross-functional collaboration to meet financial goals and business priorities. Cultivate a culture of innovation and ensure the smooth and timely execution of product development processes. Drive efficient innovation processes to ensure products are launched on time. Requirements Bachelors degree in fields such as Product Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus. At least 10 years of experience in R&D, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions. Proven success in leading innovation initiatives, including product development and market introduction. Experience in the bakery and emulsions industries is preferred. Strong leadership and project management skills, with hands-on experience in product development. Ability to think strategically and turn market insights into actionable R&D plans. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with strong stakeholder management skills. Strong business acumen, including experience in managing budgets and resources. Results-oriented, innovative mindset with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous situations.
