Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a thriving group of companies in an exciting, full-time role. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple businesses within the group, handling daily and monthly accounting responsibilities to support our growing finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts processes and ensure timely payments.
* Perform accurate data entry in Sage 50 and Excel.
* Prepare and send client invoices, handle credit control, and manage client queries.
* Support month-end close, reconciliations, and bank account management.
* Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with financial policies.
* Assist with setting up payment runs, maintaining control spreadsheets, and supporting intercompany balances.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Finance Officer, with strong knowledge of accounts processes.
* Proficiency in Sage 50 and Excel; Sage Payroll experience is a plus.
* Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and organizational skills.
* Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
