Nuclear Engineer - Remote Visual Inspection

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for Nuclear Engineers with experience in Remote Visual Inspections to be based in the North West of the UK. The role offers flexible, hybrid working, competitive packages & benefits and the opportunity to work on a interesting Defence project in the UK.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and implement a tailored training package for the company's management system
Lead research and development of specialised equipment to support business objectives, including exploring innovations from other industries to meet evolving needs
Provide comprehensive support for RVI equipment, including maintenance, repairs, procurement, trials, and handling emergent requests within the department
Generate and analyse performance metrics to assess the benefits of capability improvements over time
Assist in preparing business cases and justifications, with a focus on maximising return on investmentYour skills and experiences:
Essential

Degree qualified in an Engineering Discipline or relevant experience
Knowledge Visual inspection
Must have the ability to effectively negotiate, persuade and influence up to senior managementDesirable

Previous RVI/inspection experience would be beneficial
Must have excellent report writing skills
Toolsets Jira, Sharepoint, Microsoft
