Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Department: Finance
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Start between 7:30am and 8:30am. Fridays finish earlier!
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per year
Join our clients brilliant Finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk, where you'll ensure the accurate processing of invoices and manage the accounts payable inbox. You'll also build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams while supporting the business with reconciliations, payment runs, and general admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process high volumes of invoices, matching to purchase orders
* Manage the accounts payable inbox
* Perform monthly statement reconciliations
* Resolve invoice queries and build strong supplier relationships
* Assist with supplier payments and set up new credit accounts
* General admin tasks and cover for the Credit Controller
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in Accounts Payable
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
